I went from corporate ladder climber to self-starting entrepreneur after the longest 15 days of my life. And I’m never going back.
After watching my wife, 3 months pregnant, struggle with a kidney stone and require specialized and expensive medical care, I questioned everything.
The long hours in an office, away from my family.
The energy I was putting in to build other people’s careers.
The legacy and financial security I wasn’t building for my three daughters.
After my first daughter was born and my wife recovered from her health scare, I spent six beautiful weeks with my family as the primary caregiver. These few days flipped a switch from me and for the first time in years, I realized that it was time to transform from employee to boss.
For 5 years, I tested different businesses, bought multiple courses and webinars, and stayed up nights working while my wife took shifts as a NICU RN. It was an endless cycle of feeling burnt out and feeling like there was just always something I didn’t know how to do.
But when we learned that 2 of our daughters had a serious medical condition, my wife and I realized that we needed to be able to spend more time with our children and that our financial situation needed to change - fast.
As luck would have it, my company closed its New England operations and I had a choice: move to the West Coast and continue being an employee or take a leap of faith and bet on myself and my business.
We decided to put everything into launching my Webinar Production Business where I taught other entrepreneurs how to structure, market, and execute webinars that would build their authority and grow their business. Within 2 months, we reached a 5-figure income and the success continued to snowball from there.
We were able to build out our team, offer sales funnel services, and keep saying yes to growth.
But, as a start-up entrepreneur, I soon learned that even though we were building financial stability, I still didn’t have the time to spend with my girls between frequent ER visits, surgeries, doctor’s appointments, and more.
I was stuck in the entrepreneurial mindset - feeling guilty for not spending time with my girls when I was working and feeling guilty for not working when I wasn’t at the office. I wanted to show up as a father, a provider, and a business owner who kept his family together and business above water.
Everything changed when I realized I didn’t have to do it alone - the business needed help to keep up with and accelerate growth and my family needed my time back. I finally tapped into my 15 years of leadership and management experience to build a team of individuals that had the skills I didn’t. Instead of trying to do everything for my business, I could finally just focus on the right things while people smarter than me handled the rest.
Most importantly, thanks to my team, I have been able to take back and reinvest the time my family needs from me so I can show up even better as a father, provider, and Integrator-in-Chief.
Building an online business and leveraging the power of sales funnels transformed my life and led to the autonomy and freedom I can now enjoy. It is how I can provide for my family while continuing to show up for them. And I plan on getting you the same results.
It’s how I help my clients and it’s how I will help you.
